Welcome to Owl & Crow. By accessing this website (www.owlandcrow.net) and/or booking a retreat or event with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
Owl & Crow provides creative retreats, photography experiences, and collaborative events for models and creatives. By using this site or participating in an event, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Bookings & Payments
All retreat bookings require a deposit to secure your place.

Deposits are non-refundable

Full payment must be completed by the stated deadline

Payment plans, if offered, must be honored according to the agreed schedule
Failure to complete payments may result in loss of your reservation without refund.
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details regarding cancellations and payment terms.
3. Cancellations & Transfers
By booking with Owl & Crow, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in our Refund Policy.

4. Participant Responsibility
By attending an Owl & Crow retreat or event, you agree to:

Treat all participants, staff, and property with respect

Follow any guidelines or safety instructions provided

Take responsibility for your own personal belongings and well-being
Owl & Crow reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or harmful to others. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
5. Assumption of Risk
Participation in retreats, photoshoots, and related activities involves inherent risks.
By attending, you acknowledge that:

You are voluntarily participating in all activities

You assume responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage

Owl & Crow is not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents that may occur
6. Travel & External Costs
Attendees are responsible for their own:

Travel arrangements

Travel-related expenses

Personal purchases outside of what is explicitly included in the retreat
Owl & Crow is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions related to travel.
7. Photography, Media & Image Use
Owl & Crow retreats are built around photography, videography, and creative collaboration. Content creation is a core part of the experience.
All attendees will be required to review and sign a separate Model Release Agreement prior to participation. This agreement outlines specific terms regarding image usage, rights, and permissions.
By attending an Owl & Crow event, you acknowledge that:

Photography and video content will be captured throughout the retreat

You may appear in group images, behind-the-scenes content, or environmental shots

Owl & Crow may use event imagery for promotional, marketing, and portfolio purposes, in accordance with the signed Model Release
Images created during Owl & Crow retreats are intended for personal portfolio use and self-promotion.
Attendees are welcome to:

Share images on personal websites, portfolios, and social media

Use images to represent their work as a model or creative
However, to protect the integrity of the experience and the work of all collaborators, attendees may not:

Sell images created during the retreat

License images to third parties

Use images in paid advertisements or commercial campaigns

Submit images for publication where compensation is involved without prior written approval
Any commercial use of images must be approved in writing by Owl & Crow and, where applicable, the photographer.
We also ask that attendees credit photographers and collaborators whenever possible when sharing images.
If you have specific questions about usage or need clarification, please reach out prior to using images in a commercial context.
8. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party platforms (such as booking tools, forms, or payment processors). Owl & Crow is not responsible for issues arising from these external services.
9. Communication
By booking or contacting Owl & Crow, you agree to receive communications related to your booking, event updates, and important information regarding your participation.
10. Changes to Terms
Owl & Crow reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in events constitutes acceptance of any changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
